A Turner Family Picnic

One day when Bryan called me in the states, he raved about this beautiful place deep into the woods that he found whilst bored and walking the dog one day. He told me it was the perfect place to have a picnic and that he couldn't wait to take us when we got home. So last Saturday afternoon, we packed our lunches and headed to this special place. The drive was about 10 minutes away from the house and then it was another 5-10 minutes to get to "the perfect spot" but it was completely worth it. I don't even know if the pictures I took would do it justice! Bryan's favorite part of it all was "the babbling brook". He couldn't wait to show us the babbling brook! :) After a delicious lunch we proceeded to return to our car and I saw the most beautiful pond and swans! I love swans! They always look so majestic! All in all, I'm so grateful that Bryan found such a picnic worthy spot. I can't wait for our next family picnic!

We're Back!!!

We're finally back in Germany! I know, I know, you were all wondering when this blessed day would come right?! lol We're glad to be back just need to get on the right sleep schedule again. So give us a couple days to git-r-done and we'll be back to normal. We hope everyone has been doing well and we look forward to seeing you all Sunday!

My Megan

Megan in Venus, all girls show choir. They are singing the Star Spangled Banner which is why everyone is standing.
Singing the beginning of her solo "If Only" from The Little Mermaid Broadway Show.
Tyler LeFant sang the part of Prince Eric
Wisdom (left) sang the part of Sebastian and Mr. Richard (right) sang the part of Triton. Mr. Richard has never sang with one of his students before so Megan was really shocked he said that he would sing with her. He did amazing!
Striking a pose before Athenians begins. Athenians is Gateway's best show choir. They are the ones that bring home the gold. :)
Megan and Sarah telling Tyler that they are right.
While waiting for a beautiful band of gold, a person can develop a cold. This is them saying "Achoo".
Right in the middle!
Look how gorgeous she looks!
The graduating class of 2009.
She did it!
The best of friends, Sarah Thomas and Megan Kelly.
The Three Musketeers, Sarah, Wisdom and Megan.
I love her so much!

I had the privilege to be in the states for my sister Megan's final choir concert and graduation. She is truly an amazing young woman. Watching her perform by herself or with friends was truly a treat. She loves to share her beautiful talent of music with everyone and I know it blesses the lives of anyone who's privileged to hear it. I was beaming with pride when I watched her receive countless awards for her incredible talent and it only increased when I saw how humble she was regardless of the amount. Megan and I share the same love of music so it was fun to be home to sing and play with her. Then to top it off, I was able to witness her stand among the few to graduate with academic and music honors then receive her diploma. She worked so hard and I'm so proud of her. Come September she'll be off to BYU Idaho to start college life. I know she will succeed whatever she sets her mind to and I have no doubt it will be something in music. I love you my Megan! I miss you like crazy already but I'm so glad I was able to see you as long as I did. Good luck at BYU-I and know I'm always thinking of you.

Day at the Zoo

It all started with a delicious chocolate covered doughnut and good old milk to wash it all down. Then we were off! Madison loved seeing "Bumbo" aka Dumbo and all of his friends. Most of the time her face held the same expression of trying to take it all in. Besides Dumbo, she really loved the seals, arctic foxes, and the polar bears. We had a great time as a family and I can't wait to go back next year!

Rollin With Homies

My mom found this car at the store and just had to get it. Madison loved it! Although she could only go in reverse she was still having a blast. Just have to teach her to go forward and she can go grocery shopping for me. lol

Rockin Out

At this point I couldn't even tell you what song it was she was rockin out to, but I can show you the face she made everytime it came on. It was hilarious!

Smiles before Nap Time

As soon as we got home from church Madison was all smiles. Then of course it was nap time. Aunt Tara volunteered to help put her to sleep but fell asleep in the process. It was so funny I had to take pictures.
